June 2019 Round-up

Well June was a busy month. Well a month full of holidays! It was also my 3 month in my bullet journal. I have never been this relaxed in a notebook for this long before.

I think the fact that I have put less pressure on myself to make it pretty. Because I have gone into this notebook with the mind set of function over fancy. This has helped me stay in this notebook for this amount of time.

Let’s dig into the spreads.

WEEK 23

June 3rd – June 9th

This first week of June I started my travels and holidays. I headed down to London to catch up with friends and of course head to Junipalooza! Christmas for gin lovers!

Just a simple week on one pages with notes. However I had a lot of timed things on the Monday and Tuesday so I went for a time line and two lists. Personal and work. These types of spreads help me focus on what is going on in a day.

I had an idea in my head that had been floating about for a few days, so I decided to give it a go. And I really like how it turned out.

I did go a bit mad on the details.

WEEK 24

June 10th – June 16th

Holiday time! 5 days in France! I just wanted to have space to journal for this week. So, I spit the pages in two did some headers and some more bubbles. I like how this turned out.

I did have space for a notes page for any tasks that popped into my head while I was away.

I also wanted to have a go at sketching some bits of the things that we saw while we were driving around France.

Also I re-read The Bullet Journal Method while in France, I wanted to brush up on the basics and feed that back into my own journal. I’m really happy with how this came out and I love every bit of info on here.

Here is a bit of a close up.

WEEK 25

June 17th – June 23rd

Time for the second holiday! And this time I was in Reighton Sands with the family. I just wanted space to journal for this week so I took up a whole page for each day!

WEEK 26

June 24th – June 30th

Last week was a slow week for me. It was the first time that I had been alone for a long time and the weather was not helping with the changing pressure. But, I wanted to track my food because I no I suck at this when Jono is not around.

I then had a full page for each day with half for a to do list and half a page for journaling.

End of month time and time to review the month. I am really looking forward to July and a bit of a slower month. Though we are heading to Barcelona for a couple of days.

Are you looking forward to July? Are you going to be taking part in One Book July?
