I am back to using the Bullet Journal system in a new notebook. It’s a notebook from a Dutch company and it is a beautiful mustard which just screamed to me when I found it. AND it matches the new Lamy fountain pen that I got from Cult Pens.
If you follow me over on Instagram you will know that I have been in a *few* different planners this year but I have missed the flexibility of a empty notebook. With everything that is going on in the world I have had more time at home and had chance to look after my garden and I have needed to track some bit there so I needed the ability to have that in my book.
I have also missed my daily journaling and pasting pictures in my journal so I have started to journal in my bullet journal. But anyway here is a look at my journal.
I love this colour! It’s a perfect colour for summer and just makes me happy because of the particular situation that we are all in! The leaves on the front are the Japanese Ginkgo tree which I love and would love to have one in the garden!
I did do a little cover page for the month of April and I just wanted something simple and a bit geometric. I am really happy with how this came out.
Next is my Garden notes. I have measure and re measure then bottom of the garden and I know exactly how many veg plots I can fit.
Next I have a garden calendar so that I can keep track of when I have planted things and when things have germinated. I am hoping to use this for next year so that I can plan out when I need to plant things.
After that, I have my actual calendar that is a bit bare really with the lack of travel I am using this more for tracking when I am celebrating different days and what I need to be looking towards. You can find how I celebrate these over on the Days Of The Year Blog.
One of the spread that I know that I need is a brain dump page and I am having another go at tracking a few things but I have a feeling that this will end up getting scrapped next month because I suck at tracking.
This is a new spread that has kinda come about due to becoming obsessed with Animal Crossing. Anyone else? I am really loving this game and it is so chill. I am looking forward to playing it each day if only for an hour. which is what I want to aim for instead of the five I spent on it the other day!
I am really happy to be back in a notebook and I have a spare notebook as well for when I have filled this one! I hope that you are taking care of yourself and staying inside or in your garden.
